Belden of Nashua Maud (Mrs. Arthur) Watts of Bellingham, Washington Jessie (Mrs. Andrew M.) Troutner of Nashua Others remaining are a sister, Mrs. Amy McKenzie of Horton and a brother, Amon Kucker of Wayne, S.D.; twenty-two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The eldest son, Amos, died in infancy. She had two other sisters, Mrs. Mary Ogbin and Mrs. Louise Jourden, and one brother, M. S. (Moses) Kucker, who died before her, along with her parents. Mrs. Belden had been failing in health for the past year or more, being afflicted with Bright's Disease, but was able to be around, and on the day of her death, had been feeling the best that she had for a long time. After she had her supper, she visited with her son, Eph, for a while, and then did up her kitchen work. Just before retiring, she complained of not feeling well, but thought she would feel better if she went to sleep. She soon called her son and said her heart was troubling her. The usual remedies were tried but failed to do her any good. Mr. Belden ran over to George Tracy's for help, but by the time he reached home, his mother was dying, and died in his arms before anyone could reach there. Mr. Belden always lived a quiet, unpretentious life, and all those who had ever had a glimpse into her home life knew her to be a most beautiful mother. She was always the happiest when surrounded by her children, and during the winter when she was not well, her sick room was cheered by the presence of them all. Her children were ever watchful of her welfare and comfort, and when it became evident that the mother would not be long spared to them, her only son, E. E. Belden, came home and took a daughter's place in the home, caring tenderly for her until the end came. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. today with Rev. Burch conducting services.
