Croker of Colo died at the St. Thomas Hospital in Marshalltown Sunday morning at 6:15 of pneumonia following serious burns received March 27. Catherine Arnold was born at LuVerne, Minn. on January 21, 1892, when six hears of age she moved to Story County with her parents. She was married on Jan. 1, 1911 to John C. Croker of Colo and lived near Colo since her marriage. Mr. Croker died in 1919. She was a member of St. Mary's Church at Colo. Mrs. Croker is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Wesley of Marshalltown; two sons, Glenn and Max at home; a granddaughter, Mary Catherine Wesley, Marshalltown; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Arnold, four sisters, Mrs. John Obrecht, Mrs. Arthur Ernst and Mrs. Henry Wilkening all of this city, Mrs. Henry Reingardt of Alden, three brothers, Jessie and William Arnold of State Center and S.J. Arnold of Cheyene, Wyoming. Funeral services were held from St. Marys Catholic Church in Colo at 10 o'clock this (Wednesday) morning with Rev. Nichols in charge. Pall bearers were Thomas Fitzgerald, John Fitzgerald, Pat Fitzgerald, John Donnelly, Wylie Orr of Colo and Henry Malloy of State Center. The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Frances O'Donnell and Miss Frances Nothomb of Colo. Burial was in St. James Cemetery in Colo. Those from a distance in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. James Homan and daughter of Minneapolis, , Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reingardt and family of Alden, Mr. and Mrs. Royce Homan of Manson and Mr. and Mrs. Art Etnier (?spelling) of Collins.
