Description	:	IOWA FALLS-Catherine Fern Reisinger Lettow, 95, of Iowa Falls passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at the Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, Minn. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, with Rev. Kenneth Krueger officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel. Catherine Fern Reisinger was born on July 6, 1910, in Melrose Township, Grundy County, Iowa, to Raleigh and Grace (Bowers) Reisinger. She attended school in Eldora, graduating in 1928. She attended Iowa State Teachers College (now the University of Northern Iowa) and completed work for her teacher's certificate in 1930. She taught in schools in Van Horne, Buckeye and Owasa, and served for a year (1931-32) as a deputy sheriff in the driver's license division during a time when she returned to Eldora because her mother was ill. On Jan. 3, 1940, she married Carl F. Lettow in Eldora. They had three children. Catherine was devoted to her family, a gracious and thoughtful part of the community, a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Buckeye and the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls, a voracious reader and an avid gardener. Catherine is survived by her children and their spouses: son, Charles is now a judge with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., and with his wife, Sue, lives in McLean, Va.; daughter, Dr. Beth Brusius, is a retired teacher and with her husband, Philip, lives in Minnetonka, Minn.; daughter, Nancy Malone, is a real estate associate broker and lives with her husband, John, in Ann Arbor, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Renee Lerner and husband Craig of Arlington, Va., David Bahr and wife Trisha of Ann Arbor, Mich., Carl Lettow II and wife Alexandra of Arlington, Va., Michael Bahr of Chicago, Ill., Dr. John Lettow and wife Phoebe of Washington, D.C., Dr. Paul Lettow of Louisville, Ky., Anne Brusius of Oak Park, Ill., and Mark Brusius of Chicago, Ill.; as well as five great-grandchildren, Christopher James Bahr, Ely Sterling Lettow, Matthew Craig Bahr, Anna Leigh Lerner and Elias Moore Lerner.
