Description	:	Once more the shadow of death has cast a gloom over this community and called another aged and much esteemed resident to her rest and reward in the person of Catherine Green, relict of the late Mr. Arthur Ross. She passed peacefully away after an illness of only two days from bronchial pneumonia. Deceased, who was 79 years of age was born in the township of Pakenham and afterwards moved to the home near Panmure where she resided until the time of her death. She passed peacefully away after an illness of only two days from bronchial pneumonia. Deceased, who was 79 years of age was born in the township of Pakenham and afterwards moved to the home near Panmure where she resided until the time of her death. She bore her sufferings with Christian patience. Deceased was a member of the Anglican Church, she was a loving wife and a most affectionate mother and a true and loyal supporter of the law of the cause of Christ: her husband predeceased her four months ago; she is survived by seven children, namely, W. A. of Kinburn, John of Red Deer, Alberta; Albert of Klondike, Fred A. of Ramsay, Edmund J. and Elijah of Panmure, Mrs. W. J. Green of Pakenham and also by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. John Switzer of Pakenham, Mrs. Edward Green of Winnipeg, Moses and William of Panmure. The esteem in which Mrs. Ross was held was evident by the large number of friends which followed the remains to St. Mark's Church, Pakenham, where a very impressive sermon was preached by Rev. C. F. Clark, afterwards the remains were interred in St. Mark's Cemetery. On the casket was a beautiful wreath and anchor from the bereaved family and also a spray from the grand children. The pall-bearers were Messers George Hodgins, James McVittie, Wm. Boyle, S. W. Owens, John Kemp and Wm. Major. The bereaved family have the deep sympathy of the whole community.
