She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Steven and Russell Lance Simmons; a great-grandson; a brother, Barney"Jr,"Ruby; and two stepbrothers, Clarence and Lawrence McCombs. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at Reece Funeral Home; with her nephew, Randy Saylor, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin at 11 am Sunday with the family present from 5-7 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Washington, DC.
