Mrs. Nemyer was born in Waldgredweiler, Rhine Pfalz Bayern, Germany, December 17, 1868. She emmigrated to the United States in 1884 and located in Coshocton county, O., where she lived for one year. She came to Wabash county in 1885 to make her home with her sisters and brothers that were already here. She was united in marriage to John Nemyer, August 4, 1887 in Dayton, O. To this union there were born five children, one having died in infancy. After marriage she with her husband came to this city to live, where they remained until death called her. She was a devoted member of the Holiness Christian church. Mrs. Nemyer was also a faithful worker with the Foreign Missionary society. Her husband, father, Valentine Pitts, four children, Mrs. Ruth King, Mrs. Josephine Strickler, John, William and Lorin Nemyer of this city. Mrs. Roy Ellis, Mrs. Mike Rehak, of this city and Mrs. Fred Ivory of Kalamazoo, Mich., and one brother Otto Pitts of Pine Bluff, Ark., survive. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The services will be conducted at the Holiness Christian church on the corner of Indiana and Michigan streets at 2:30 o'clock.
