Catherine Heuer appeared in the Aegis on Friday, August 6, 1926. MRS CATHARINE R HEUER Mrs. Catharine R. Heuer, aged 62, widow of the late William W. Heuer, died at her home in Bel Air early Tuesday night. Although she had been in ill health for a number of years Mrs. Heuer's condition had been improved for the past year until the sudden death of her husband which took place July 3rd. It will be recalled that Mr Heuer after retiring the night before in his usual state of health, was found dead in bed the following morning. The shock was a terrific one for Mrs. Heuer and was largely conductive to her own death just one month later. Sympathy for her children under such trying circumstances has been wide-spread and deep. The deceased, who before her marriage was Miss Stiegler, is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Charles T. Stephens, Mrs. F Royston Stifler, Miss Eleanor Heuer and Miss Elsie Heuer. She also leaves three brothers and seven sisters, all of whom reside in Baltimore except a brother Mr Simon Stiegler, of Fallston, Mr. Theodore Stiegler, of Wilmington, Del., and a sister, Mrs. Mumberger, of Texas. Funeral services will be held this (Friday) morning at the late home of Mrs. Heuer at 10:30 o'clock, Dr. John L Vellott officiating; interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
