Granddaughter Catherine (Bilbee) Starkey had following obituary: Mrs Catherine Hoch was born March 16th, 1835 and departed this life August 7th 1918 aged 83 years 4 months and 21 days, at the home of her daughter Mrs Estella Bilbee. She was married May 14th 1857 to the late Sampson Hoch. To this union were born ten children, six of whom survive, namely--David Hoch of Anderson, Indiana, George Hoch of Huntington, Ind., Benjiman Hoch of Delta, Colorado, Mazzie Kessler of Hutchinson, Kansas, Blanche Stephenson of Tampa, Florida, and Estella Bilbee of near Indianapolis. She also leaves two brothers and one sister and several grand children. Mrs. Hoch had been in poor health for the past two years from heart trouble and rheumatism. She had all the care that loving hearts and willing hands could give. She was an affectionate mother, a good neighbor and much respected by those who knew her. She was a lifelong member of the Christian Church and was a good christian woman. Burial will take place at Falls Cemetery near Lincolnville, Ind. (Note: Falls Cemetery must be aka Center Grove Cem.)
