Mrs. Williams was born June 20, 1956, in Cherokee, the daughter of Ira and Delora (Hackett) Mitchell. She graduated from Willow High School in 1974. She received a nursing degree from Western Iowa Technical College in Sioux City in 1993. She married Dana Williams on Aug. 24, 1996, in Nevada. She had worked for the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown for the past six years. She enjoyed animals, the outdoors, gardening and flowers. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jeb Sigler and his friend, Katrina Johnson of Elkhart, Ind., Jeramie Sigler of Nevada, and Ian Tye of Nevada; a daughter, Michelle Tye of Nevada; her mother of Washta, Iowa; three brothers, Warren and his wife, Jan Mitchell of Aurelia, Iowa, Mike and his wife, Ellen Mitchell of Alta, Iowa, and Jeff Mitchell of Missouri; three sisters, Annette Mitchell and her friend, Gary DeYoung of Larrabee, Iowa, Carolyn Mitchell and her friend, Phil Wright of Quimby, Iowa, and Jennifer and her husband, Roger Brenner of Schaller, Iowa; and her mother-in-law, Virginia Williams of Washta.
