"Cat" was born in Sumter County, a daughter of the late Edward Lewis Thigpen and Mary Sue Coker Thigpen. She claimed a lot of children including Allison Coker. Allison, you were special to her, and she loved you dearly. A special thank you to Ronnie Chandler for always being ready and willing to help when she needed you. She loved her children and grandchildren, and was the best Momma and NaNa we could ever ask for. A special thank you to all of you who have helped take care of her during her illness. McLeod, you didn't let us down, your excellent care is appreciated. She was preceded in death by spouses, Barto Floyd, Wilbur Miles, and Gary Castrignano, a son, Bert Floyd, brothers, Charlie Thigpen, Johnnie Harris Thigpen, and Bob Thigpen, sisters, Ofell Thigpen, Zelma Christmas, Lucille Yarborough, Janie Mims, and Ula Mae Branham.
