Description	:	43 Wisconsin Infantry Company B. Cibius Bolton was a native of Ohio, having been born in Cleveland on the 22nd day of January 1820, making him at the time of his death in his ninetieth year. After reaching manhood's estate he removed to Platteville, Wisconsin where he married Mrs Celestia Hunter, on the 17th of April, 1863. To this union were born five children, all living save one daughter who died in infancy. In 1870 the family removed to Boonesboro and lived here ever since. After reaching manhood's estate he removed to Platteville, Wisconsin where he married Mrs Celestia Hunter, on the 17th of April, 1863. To this union were born five children, all living save one daughter who died in infancy. In 1870 the family removed to Boonesboro and lived here ever since. In the year 1864 Mr Bolton enlisted in the army and participated in a number of the battles of the Civil War. He was a member of the 43rd Wisconsin volunteers and served for ten months, when he was honorably discharged from service. He is survived by four children, Mrs Milton Nixon of Boone, Mrs Della Emerson of Marathon, Iowa, John Bolton of St Louis, Missouri and Charles of this city. Two sisters also survive, Mrs Hannah Phippen of Russell Iowa and Miss Ortinea Bolton of the same place. His wife died eight years ago this month.
