Read More	Cecelia Hansen, age 82, of Schaller, Iowa died on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in SCHALLER. Burial will be in the Schaller Cemetery. Cecelia Anne Breyfogle, the daughter of Carl and Alice (Kuhlmann) Breyfogle, was born on November 8, 1938 in Storm Lake, Iowa. Growing up, Cecelia attended school in Storm Lake. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1957. After high school, she attended nurse's training in Pensacola, Florida where she earned her LPN. She worked as an LPN at the Methodist Manor in Storm Lake until retirement age. On August 25, 1963, Cecelia was united in marriage to Kermit Edwin Hansen in Storm Lake. The couple was blessed with four children: Kemeille, Kari, Ryan, and Carla. Throughout her life, she worked on the farm with Kermit doing daily tasks such as raising chickens and sheep, baling hay, mowing, and keeping up the farm. Cecelia was involved in her community through VFW Auxiliary, Red Hats Society, Quilting Group, Book Club, and painting classes. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Schaller. In her free time, Cecelia enjoyed embroidery, sewing, crafts, reading, coloring, painting, baking, and canning. She also loved to spend time outside whether it was gardening, working outside with flowers, or fishing and camping with the entire family in a school bus turned into a camper. Family picnics were her favorite gatherings. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Kemeille Morrow of Schaller, Iowa; Ryan (Colleen) Hansen of Schaller, Iowa; Kari (Tim) Hansen-Limbert of Early, Iowa; twin brother, Cecile (Jan) Breyfogle of Storm Lake, Iowa; ten grandchildren:[redacted]; eleven great-grandchildren:[redacted]; two great-great-grandchildren: [redacted]; sister-in-law, Honey Breyfogle of Norfolk, Virginia; cousin, Margery Hansen of Alta, Iowa; son-in-law, Joe Ravenscroft of Seattle, Washington; extended family and friends. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Hansen in 2010; parents, Carl and Alice Breyfogle; daughter, Carla Hansen-Ravenscroft; brothers, Delane and Kenneth Breyfogle; and infant sister, Grace Breyfogle. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.
