Mason, wife of Cambridge jeweler were held at the Nazareth Lutheran church at Cambridge, Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The services were in charge of Rev. P. Buland. The songs "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," Den Store Hvide Flok and "Going Dow the Valley" were sung by the choir. Many beautiful floral offerings surrounded the casket. The pall bearers were C. M. Cecelia Fjelland was born March 14, 1874, two miles east of Slater, at the Fjelland homestead, and died at her home at Cambridge, July 10, 1930 at the age of 56 years 3 months and 16 days. Her parents were Ragnild and Anders Fjelland, both of whom have preceded her in death. She was married to A. M. Mason, Sept. 10, 1891 and has since lived in Cambridge. No children were born to this union, but a niece Amelia Wenos was brought up in their home as a daughter from the age of 8 years till her death ten years later. She was an active member of the Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid and always willing to do her part. Mrs. Mason suffered a severe attack of pneumonia about four years ago which left her in a weakened condition. From July 1929 till December 1929 she was a patient at the Oakdale sanitarium near Iowa City. She came home with the realization that she had not long to live and spent her days among loved one in the community where she had spent her life. Mrs. Mason although ill for many months, endured her illness with courage and patience that surprised even those who knew her best. She was devoted to her husband, and always thoughtful for others and full of good cheer and hope. She was member of the Eastern Star and Giles Rebekah No. 593 and took a prominent part in their activities. She was also a member of the K. K. club. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, a sister, Mrs. Anna Bauge of Huxley; three brothers, Tom of Jamestown, N. D., Ole and Andrew of Huxley, besides numerous relatives and friends. Burial was made in the Fieldberg cemetery. Those from her in attendance at the services were Hon. Oley Nelson, T. W. Rawson, Mr. and Mrs. Jeffry Richardson, Mrs. Chas. Skortman, Mr. and Mrs. A. L.
