(Tragesser)Brunette, widow of John Brunette, a Nickel Plate employee, died at an Indianapolis hospital on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, death being sudden and caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Brunette had been under treatment in the hospital for several years, being afflicted with a nervous breakdown; but her general health was as good as usual and the suddenness of her death was a great shock to family and friends. Mrs. Brunette had been under treatment in the hospital for several years, being afflicted with a nervous breakdown; but her general health was as good as usual and the suddenness of her death was a great shock to family and friends. The body was brought to the Young funeral home on West Jefferson street for preparation and was taken to the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Tragesser northeast of Tipton Sunday afternoon to lie in state until the hour of services. The funeral will be held at the St. John's church Tuesday morning at 9:00 o'clock with Rev. F. Jos. Bilstein officiating and burial will be in St. John's cemetery. Mrs. Burnett, who was 47 years of age, was born on the family farm northeast of Tipton, being one of several children born, to George and Elizabeth (Peters) Tragesser, and was united in marriage to John Brunette, April 14, 1910. The husband preceded her to the grave, his death occurring 19 years ago. Two children survive; Sylvester of Richmond. Calif. and Mrs. Frank Slinger of Muncie. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Roy Quellhorst residing near Lebanon; Mrs. Peter Altherr residing near Tipton; Mrs. Joseph Seal of Milwaukee. Wis., and Mrs. George Slinger of Indianapolis, and four brothers. Anthony, Isadora, Irvin and Robert Tragesser, all of this county. Mrs. Brunette, until her health failed, was active in the social and church, life of this community, being a life-long, member of St. John's Catholic church of Tipton and was a woman who leaves many friends to mourn her passing.
