Description	:	Cecil B. Harris, son of Frederick and Mabel (Rooker) Harris, was born on July 27, 1926, in Baker Township, Guthrie County, Iowa. He passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020, at his home. Cecil grew up on a farm in Guthrie County and attended Guthrie Center schools. He graduated from Guthrie Center High School in 1944. Cecil married Neva P. Bailey on June 28, 1952, in Huntsville Arkansas. After marriage, Cecil owned his own trucking business worked at Randolph foods, and John Deere. Harris, son of Frederick and Mabel (Rooker) Harris, was born on July 27, 1926, in Baker Township, Guthrie County, Iowa. He passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020, at his home. Cecil grew up on a farm in Guthrie County and attended Guthrie Center schools. He graduated from Guthrie Center High School in 1944. Cecil married Neva P. Bailey on June 28, 1952, in Huntsville Arkansas. After marriage, Cecil owned his own trucking business worked at Randolph foods, and John Deere. After retiring from John Deere, Cecil continued farming. He loved farming, music, playing the guitar, writing songs, his horses, and most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cecil’s last tribute to his grandchildren was an audiotape for each of them so they can hear him play the guitar and sing for years to come, he was also a member of the First Christian Church in Guthrie Center. He is survived by his son, Doug (Lonnie ); a daughter, Debbie and her fiancé, Ron. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley (Rylan), Amber (Colton), Cody (Elizabeth), Bailey, Chad (Traci), and Melanie (Justin). Also, surviving Cecil are his great-grandchildren, Cadence, Cain, Jillian, Madison, Dalton, Alexa, Toby, Alice, Morgan and Kyson. Cecil is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him.
