The Macon County, Tenn., native was a retired custodian for Warren Township Schools and a World War II Army veteran. He was a son of the late Walter D. Lonas and Hester Doss Lonas and the husband of the late Virginia Dobbson Lonas. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Harry Sering; a sister, Kathleen Lonas; and a brother, Dessie Lonas.
