He was preceded in death by his parents and this two brother - John "Clifford" Thomas of Redfield and Samuel "Bejamin" Thomas of Minnesota; three sisters, Mrs. Harrold Miller (Mary "Elaine) Miller of Redfield, Mrs. Walter (Lois) Schulz of Parkston, South Dakota and Beulah Thomas.
