Description	:	Funeral services were held Monday, November 9, for Mrs. L . D. Ross, age 77, at the United Methodist Church, Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating. Songs "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden" were sung by Mrs. Robert Benda with Mrs. Orin Harris, organist Burial was in Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were: Pearl Tucker, Elmer Fickbohm, James Jensen, Ed Nelson, Orlan C. Moore and Anthony Weidenfeller. They farmed in the Akron area until they retired to town in 1951. Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Ericson and one grandson.
