Description	:	Memorial Mass will be Sat., Aug. 4, for Celeste Marie Harrington, 95, Sioux Falls, former Wentworth resident, who died on July 28, 2007, at Dow Rummell Village in Sioux Falls. The Rev. Robert Vinslauski will officiate in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at Madison. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Parish scripture services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel. Harrington was born on May 26, 1912, at Wentworth to Andrew and Johanna (Martin) Harrington. She grew up in Wentworth, where she graduated from high school in 1926. She graduated from Coe College in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1933 and worked at Consolidated Aircraft in La Jolla, Calif., during World War II. She returned to Wentworth after the war and became vice president and director of Dakota State Bank, where she worked until she retired. She lived in Waterford Apartments prior to moving into Dow Rummell three years ago. She was a member of AAUW, National Association of Banking Women, S.D. National Organization for Women, and the Rose Hill and St. Thomas cemetery boards. Survivors include three nieces and a nephew; a grandniece; and two cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Edward; and a sister, Helen Murphy.
