Description	:	CEPHAS DEMILL , Crookston, died suddenly while attending a hockey match in Madoc on Friday evening last. He was known to have a heart condition for several years. The late Mr. Demill was in his 61st years, was born in Madoc Township, and is the son of Mr. Edward Demill, Madoc, and the late Mrs. Demill. All his life was passed in the district where he was born with the exception of a few years spent in Belleville when he was a constable on the city police force un the late Chief John Newton. He was a... Read More	CEPHAS DEMILL , Crookston, died suddenly while attending a hockey match in Madoc on Friday evening last. He was known to have a heart condition for several years. The late Mr. Demill was in his 61st years, was born in Madoc Township, and is the son of Mr. Edward Demill, Madoc, and the late Mrs. Demill. All his life was passed in the district where he was born with the exception of a few years spent in Belleville when he was a constable on the city police force un the late Chief John Newton. He was a member of the United Church. Surviving him are his wife, the former Lily Fleming; one son, Roy Demill, Crookston; his father, Edward Demill; three brothers, Robert of Madoc; Allan of Welland and Claude of Madoc; three sisters, Mr. Lucy Andrews, Madoc; Mrs. Mary Riddell, Paris, Ontario, and Mrs. Mabel Gardiner, Niagara Falls, N.Y. The funeral took place Monday afternoon from the Grant Funeral Home, Belleville, to the United Church, White Lake where the service was conducted. Interment was in White Lake Cemetery.
