He was born October 23, 1906 at Brownville, Ne. and came to Morrill County in 1918. He married Clara Covalt at Alliance in 1928. She died in 1943. On April 3, 1946, Mr. McMann married Ruth Bubolt of Hyannis. They have lived in Bridgeport since their marriage. He was employed on the Jack Cavett Ranch near Bridgeport. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Keith of Bridgeport and Jerry of Chadron; one step-son, Bill Yates of Minatare; one step-daughter, Linda Scheonaman of Bayard; three brothers, Delbert of Bridgeport, and Donald and Edwin, both of Alliance, two sisters Mrs. Barbara Spaur of Bridgeport and Mrs. Mamie Morehead of Alliance and one grandson, Jefry McMann of Chadron. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bridgeport Presbyterian Church; with the Rev. Ralph Dixon Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery.
