Description	:	Mr. Charles "Sam" Aldun Lloyd, 88, of Brunswick, MD died at home on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Born August 17,1928 in Brunswick, MD, he was the son of the late Lester L. Lloyd and Arrah M. Wilt. Sam was the loving husband of the late Virginia L. "Ginny" Lloyd. They were married on August 14, 1977 in Brunswick. Read More	Mr. Charles "Sam" Aldun Lloyd, 88, of Brunswick, MD died at home on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Born August 17,1928 in Brunswick, MD, he was the son of the late Lester L. Lloyd and Arrah M. Wilt. Sam was the loving husband of the late Virginia L. "Ginny" Lloyd. They were married on August 14, 1977 in Brunswick. He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick, a long-standing member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Brunswick, where he served on the Board of Trustees. Sam volunteered his services in the construction of the Brunswick Veterans Park on East "A" Street, was a graduate of Brunswick High School and worked on the B&O/CSX Railroad, retiring with 40 years of service. He is survived by a brother, Lester L. Lloyd, and a sister, Dorothy E. Boyce. In addition to his parents and late wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, James M. Lloyd and sister Helen L. Alger. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Bethel Assembly of God (Formerly Faith Assembly of God Church) 3700 Burkittsville Road, Brunswick, MD, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. Officiating will be Reverend James Lloyd of Marlow Assembly of God, Falling Waters, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial's in Sam's memory may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, 516 Trail Avenue, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702. The family would like to thank the Senior Center of Brunswick, MD for their loving support both at the center, and his home, as well as his caregivers and hospice nurses for their support in his final days.
