Description	:	Charles Alexander Moseley, 90, passed away Monday, October 9, 2006. Mr. Moseley was born August 21, 1916, in Aiken, a son of the late Freddie Harley and Marie Lillian Emeneker Moseley. A member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church, he was previously an active member of First Baptist of Columbia where he was a member of the Baraca Sunday School Class. Mr. Moseley was born August 21, 1916, in Aiken, a son of the late Freddie Harley and Marie Lillian Emeneker Moseley. A member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church, he was previously an active member of First Baptist of Columbia where he was a member of the Baraca Sunday School Class. Mr. Moseley graduated from Aiken High School and had retired from Colonial Stores after 42 years. After his retirement, he worked part-time at Seven Oaks Farm Fresh Market. Mr. Moseley served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Eau Claire Masonic Lodge #344 for over 50 years and Woodmen of the World Lodge #2. He enjoyed playing the steel guitar and water-skiing. He water-skied until the age of 78. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Bush River Road. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 12, at 11 a.m. in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Winifred Gay Moseley; son, C. Robert Moseley and his wife, Lisa A. Moseley; grandson, R. Scott Moseley and his wife, Melinda B. Moseley; granddaughter, Ann Alexander Moseley; a great-grandson; Alexander M. Moseley; great-granddaughter, Katherine E. Moseley; brothers, Henry P. Moseley and William E. Moseley; sisters; Rosa M. Barrett and Elise Katrena M. DeLoach. He was predeceased by a brother, F. Harley Moseley, and a sister, Lillian Mary Ann M. Thomas. The family would like to thank the staff at Carroll Campbell Place, Ellis Crossing, and Hospice Care of Tri-county for their care and support. Published in The State Newspaper, Columbia, S. C.
