Bolin, 74, who died Saturday at his home of an apparent heart attack, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowlin Chapel. The Rev. Ronald Baker officiated. Burial was in California City Cemetery. Mr. Bolin was born June 2, 1902, at McGirk, the son of Lafayette and Louin Brizendine Bolin. On Sept. 3, 1924, he married Susan A. Shores, who died in February, 1940. He married Maurine Parks March 31, 1957. She survives. Mr. Bolin was a deacon of the First Baptist Church and a member of the 20 Club. He worked at Moniteau Mills 30 years and then was employed at the Crum Produce Company prior to owning the business four years. When he sold out, Mr. Bolin worked at Rohrbach Produce until he retired in 1967. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Dorsey Bolin, Boonville, Kenneth Bolin, Mentor, OH, Howard Bolin and Norman Bolin, both of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Favazza, Kansas City, and Mrs. Darlene Williams, Summerville, SC; one brother, Clifford Bolin, Lebanon; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
