| Description | : | During the North West Rebellion of 1885, the small town of Bresaylor was raided by Poundmaker. Charles Bremner, a number of his fellow villagers, and Father Cochin were taken hostage by the native leader. Charles had his wagon of furs in tow. When Poundmaker agreed to surrender (with the hostages) at Batoche, Sir Frederick Middleton stole Charles Bremner's furs.
