Description	:	CHARLES CLESTER EXPIRES AT 80 Charles Clester, 80, of 829 Laporte Avenue, a resident of Fort Collins since 1943, died Monday at his home. He had been in ill health since 1953. Born Aug. 21, 1881, in Champaign, Ill., Mr. Clester was married in 1900 in Platteville. Mrs. Clester died here March 30, 1959. Surviving are two daughters,... Read More	CHARLES CLESTER EXPIRES AT 80 Charles Clester, 80, of 829 Laporte Avenue, a resident of Fort Collins since 1943, died Monday at his home. He had been in ill health since 1953. Born Aug. 21, 1881, in Champaign, Ill., Mr. Clester was married in 1900 in Platteville. Mrs. Clester died here March 30, 1959. Mr. Clester farmed in the Trilby School District south of here before moving to Fort Collins. He had been a resident of Colorado since 1894. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 804. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E.M. Voss of 118 North Loomis Street and Mrs. Myrtle Neville of Olympia, Wash.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Al Bates of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. John A. Harrison of Olympia and four great grandchildren, Gina, Latese, and Katherine Bates and Joey Harrison. The Rev. Charles M. Tresner will conduct the funeral Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Blythe-Goodrich Mortuary. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery at Loveland. Fort Collins Coloradoan (Ft. Mr. Clester has been going to the doctor every day for the last two weeks to have his arm attended to. He had the misfortune to cut it very severely with a butcher knife two weeks ago while preparing to kill a hog. He cut it to the bone between the elbow and wrist so badly that he had to have the doctor’s attention every day ever since. It is getting along very nicely now. Fort Collins Coloradoan (Ft. While Charles Clester was away from home a day or two ago and the children happened to be along at the Spring Canon ranch, three coyotes which had been slinking around the neighborhood rather boldly for some time, went to the house, attacked the two dogs and seriously injured them before the girls could drive them off with brooms. Mr. Clester says that he has never seen coyotes so bold or so many of them, and that he has never seen rabbits so plentiful before. One can go out and knock the rabbits over with a stick, he says.
