Read More	Charles Dale Dare 06 June 1933 - 03 June 2016 United States Army Veteran 1953 - 1955 Korean Conflict *** Charles Dale Dare Charles Dale Dare, age 82, a resident of rural Uniontown, Kansas, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at his home. He was born June 6, 1933, in Uniontown, Kansas, the son of George Dare and Ruby Easton Dare. Charles graduated from both the Uniontown High School and the Ft. Scott Junior College. He married Barbara Ann Eisenhouer on October 25, 1953, at the Paint Creek Church near Uniontown. She preceded him in death on January 25, 2016. Charles served with the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he returned to Uniontown and maintained his own farm and dairy operation. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and camping and had enjoyed several trips to Colorado and Alaska. He attended the Paint Creek Church of the Brethren and was a charter member of the Faith Christian Center. Survivors include his son, Roy Dare and wife, Anne, of Heston, Kansas; his daughter, Cynthia Siegmund and husband, Mike, of Tolono, Illinois; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Deborah Dare and three brothers, Marvin, Lewis and Robert Dare. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8th at the Uniontown Cemetery. Rev. Chub Bolling will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Paint Creek Church of the Brethren south of Uniontown. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Brethren Church Heifer Project or the Lybrook Community Ministries and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
