Description	:	Chas. E. Fisher was born in Hanover, Germany, June 9, 1841. In 1868 he came to America to the home of his uncle at Winchester, Ill. In 1871 he was married to Tina U. Mennengill at Pekin, Ill. To them were born eight boys and four girls, eight of whom are dead, leaving only two boys and two girls, Otto, Charles, Tina and Mrs. Wm. Briese. Fisher was born in Hanover, Germany, June 9, 1841. In 1868 he came to America to the home of his uncle at Winchester, Ill. In 1871 he was married to Tina U. Mennengill at Pekin, Ill. To them were born eight boys and four girls, eight of whom are dead, leaving only two boys and two girls, Otto, Charles, Tina and Mrs. Wm. Briese. While in Illinois he had the misfortune to have his barn burn and in trying to save things inhaled to almost suffocation from the effects of which he never recovered. This old trouble combined with a siege of the grip wads more than he could endure, so he passed away Tuesday morning a few minutes after eight. Services were from the house at one o'clock and from the Lutheran church at two o'clock, Thursday, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Bosholm, and the body interred in Rose Hill.
