Description	:	Charles E. Trow, 78, died at his home here, July 8, 1933, following several years of declining health. Often his condition had become critical during the past four months. Funeral rites were conducted on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at home by the Rev. M.G. Jones, Clarks, Nebr., former pastor of the Wisner Congregational church, assisted by the resident pastor, the Rev. J.P. Wagner. Trow, son of James and Caroline Trow, was born January 12, 1855, at Albany, Wis., where he obtained his early education finishing later at Broadhead, Wis., With his mother and sister, he came to Nebraska in 1880, locating near Beemer on the Dr. Warren ranch where he became foreman. He was married March 6, 1884, to Miss M. Ann Emley. They made Wisner their home. Mr. Trow began work for the Emley Bros. lumber firm in 1885, and later became a partner of the firm. He sold his interest in the firm in 1917, and sometime thereafter engaged in the real estate and insurance business until 1931, when failing health compelled him to a life of retirement. He was a member of the Baptist church. Because of his long residence here covering a period of more than fifty years, and his quiet and unassuming manner, he had many friends who feel keenly his passing. The survivors are his widow, Mrs. M. Ann Trow, and one sister, Miss Lizzie Trow, Boulder, Colo. and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Mrs. Julia Purrington, and two brothers, John and Albert, have preceded him in death.
