Description	:	Charles Edward Cox, 77, of Seneca, passed away Jan. 6, 2012 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Ellerbe Cox and the late Elsie Mae Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Hubert Cox, Clyde Cox, and Ray Cox; three sisters, Lola Smith, Gertrude Simpson, and Mildred Smith. He is survived by sisters, Icie Addis of Seneca and Louise Cromer of Townville; brother, Lloyd Cox of Seneca, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Hubert Cox, Clyde Cox, and Ray Cox; three sisters, Lola Smith, Gertrude Simpson, and Mildred Smith. He is survived by sisters, Icie Addis of Seneca and Louise Cromer of Townville; brother, Lloyd Cox of Seneca, and many nieces and nephews. Charles Cox owned and ran Seneca Cabinets & Builders Supply with the late Albert Cromer, Sr. For over 30 years. He was an outstanding citizen and business man of Oconee County. Charles Cox was a loving and wonderful uncle to his 10 nephews and 12 nieces and to his many great-nephews and nieces. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his willingness to always lend a helping hand when needed. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 on Tuesday, Jan. 10th, 2012 at Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home. Services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 11th, 2012 at 3:00 pm with Dr. C. Von Reynolds officiating; with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park. The Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home of Seneca is in charge of the arrangements.
