Funeral Will Be Held Friday at Anderson Ranch Charles F. Anderson, prosperous and highly respected farmer of the Tiger Butte country, passed away Tuesday morning at 4 a.m. in the Deaconess Hospital. Afflicted with asthma, heart trouble and general debility, he suffered keenly for some months but had, some six weeks ago, gone to the hospital for treatment. Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": Belt Valley Times (MT), 2 Oct 1924 Charles F. Anderson Died Tuesday in Great Falls. Funeral Will Be Held Friday at Anderson Ranch Charles F. Anderson, prosperous and highly respected farmer of the Tiger Butte country, passed away Tuesday morning at 4 a.m. in the Deaconess Hospital. Afflicted with asthma, heart trouble and general debility, he suffered keenly for some months but had, some six weeks ago, gone to the hospital for treatment. Upon being told that his days were nearly numbered, he said he wanted to die at home and had planned to be brought out to the ranch on Tuesday. Just before his death he roused up, asked for water and went to sleep again never to waken in this world. He is survived by his widow and a brother, Frank Shelson. He was 68 years of age and had lived on his ranch about 35 years. He came from Sweden with his brother and Pete Johnson while a young man and worked in the coal mine at Timberline. From there they went to Sand Coulee and located their ranches soon afterwards. He was married about 27 years ago. Mr. Anderson was a capable farmer and his ranch was always well kept and prosperous looking. He enjoyed the confidence and respect of all his neighbors. He left no children. The funeral services will be held at the home on Tiger Butte on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. A. Lunde of the Great Falls Swedish Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be made in Tiger Butte Cemetery. --- Great Falls Tribune (MT), 1 Oct 1924 Charles F. Anderson, age 68, of Belt, died in this city yesterday morning. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the Anderson farm house miles south of Belt.
