Description	:	Charles H. Young, son of James and Jennie Young, was born on a farm southeast of Bloomfield, on December 29, 1870. Practically his entire life has been spent in Davis county where he was well known and respected as a farmer and later was engaged in the grocery business in Bloomfield. Early in life, at the age of eighteen, he united with the Church of Christ of Pulaski, later transferring his membership to the Bloomfield church, of which he was a member at the time of his death, which occurred December 20, 1937. On May 31, 1908, he was united... Read More	Charles H. Young, son of James and Jennie Young, was born on a farm southeast of Bloomfield, on December 29, 1870. Practically his entire life has been spent in Davis county where he was well known and respected as a farmer and later was engaged in the grocery business in Bloomfield. Early in life, at the age of eighteen, he united with the Church of Christ of Pulaski, later transferring his membership to the Bloomfield church, of which he was a member at the time of his death, which occurred December 20, 1937. On May 31, 1908, he was united in marriage to Waneta Minnick. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Helen Walker of Ottumwa, Iowa. Mr. Young is survived by his wife; daughter and by one little granddaughter, Carole Marie Walker; by one sister Etta Young and one half sister, Mrs. Mollie Bridges. Mr. Young was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Pulaski. The service was held by Rev. L.R. Hudson at the Curl Funeral home, Wednesday, December 22, 1937, at 2:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Blankinship sang, accompanied by Mrs. Morgan. The burial was in IOOF Cemetery.
