Description	:	The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Thursday, Nov. 12, 1914 Dr.C. I. Stotelmeyer died this morning at Reid Hospital, Richmond, where he was taken Monday to undergo an operation. The operation was performed at three o'clock the afternoon, revealing a cancerous condition of the liver. He ralied sufficiently to converse with those at his bedside, but no hope was entertained of his recovery, and he sand rapidly. The operation was performed at three o'clock the afternoon, revealing a cancerous condition of the liver. He ralied sufficiently to converse with those at his bedside, but no hope was entertained of his recovery, and he sand rapidly. Dr. Stotelmeyer was a practicing physician here for twenty or more years, and was very successful. He was the present trustee of Jefferson township, in which capacity he proved himself to be efficient and conscientious in the discharge of the durties of the office. He was the Democratic candidate for joint senator of Wayne and Union counties at the recent election. He leaves a wife, who is a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Brown, a son, Otho, of Newcastle, and a daughter, Ona, a professional nurse at Reid hospital. Oscar Brown is a brotherinlaw, Many friends extend sympathy to the bereaved family. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at the M. E. church here, and burial will be made in the Brick Church cemetery.
