Danne passed away at his home at 401 1st Ave. S. W. in Le Mars on March 19, 1952, after a sickness of 4 months. Mr. Danne was born on March 7, 1875 in Germany and was 77 years and 12 days of age at the time of his death. Hilka Grimjes and Charles Danne were married on September 12, 1900 in Stanton township. They resided in Stanton and Plymouth township where they farmed until 1928 when they retired and moved to Le Mars. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21, 1952 at Evangelical United Brethren College Church at 2:00 p. m. Burial will be in the Le Mars city cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home here. Rev. K. 1. Clawson will officiate at last rites. Survivors include his wife, Hilka; a son, Eldon of Le Mars and a grandson, Terry Danne; a brother, G. W Danne of Le Mars; and two sisters, Mrs. Em Kemnitz of Sycamore, Illinois and Mrs. George Burleigh of Gordon, Nebraska.
