Description	:	Funeral services were conducted for Charles J. Lange, Wednesday morning at St. Ludger Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph B. Falke officiating. Interment was in St. Ludger Cemetery. Charles Jacob Lange was born Nov. 6 1874 at Morrison, Mo. He passed away after a lingering illness at St. Bernard's Hospital in Council Bluffs, Ia. August 30 at the age of 78. He came to Nebraska at the age of 21, first locating at Platte Center, then to Niobrara. In 1910, he moved to a farm northeast of Creighton. He passed away after a lingering illness at St. Bernard's Hospital in Council Bluffs, Ia. August 30 at the age of 78. He came to Nebraska at the age of 21, first locating at Platte Center, then to Niobrara. In 1910, he moved to a farm northeast of Creighton. He moved to Cedar Rapids in 1946, where he made his home until the time of his illness. March 30, 1910, he was united in marriage to Ida Reighley at West Point. To this union were born four children, three of whom survive. They are Agnes (Carl) Shaver of Los Angeles, Calif., Charles C. of Albion and Ida (William) Becker of McLean. He was preceded in death by his wife and son, Martin. After his first wife died, he married Mrs. Minnie Mock. They had one son, Joseph, who also survives.
