Officiating was the Rev. Wayne Ellis. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Mr. Taylor was born March 23, 1928, in Andrews, a son of the late Lex Durant Taylor and Lou Annie Wheeler Taylor. Mr. Taylor was also a member of the Quarter Century Club with the company.He was a member of the former Winyah Bay Golf Club. He was a member of Screven Baptist Church and the Keystone Sunday School Class. Mr. Taylor was also a former member of the board of deacons, and had formerly served as church treasurer. He was a staff sergeant in the US Air Force in Korea. He was predeceased by six brothers, John Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Wilmont Taylor, Leonard Taylor, Livingston Taylor and Donald Taylor; and a sister, Dell McCants. Surviving are his wife, Lou C. Taylor of the home; a son, Charles L. ''Chuck'' Taylor Jr. of Georgetown; a daughter, Donna T. Sessions of Georgetown; four grandchildren, John Michael Sessions Jr., Carla Elizabeth Sessions, Charles L. Taylor III, and Cameron Lagette Taylor; a sister, Christine T.
