The interment took place at Lakeside Cemetery on Tuesday. He is survived by his wife and three children, Mr. W. J. Abrams and Misses Sarah and Pearl, all of Conway, two brothers James Abrams now of Conway and Benjamin Abrams, of Florida. Charlie Abrams as he was familiarly called was known far and wide of the kindliness of his nature and the friendship that he carried for all he knew. For a long number of years he conducted a business in the town to which he was faithful until his health failed him several years ago. He fought the malady with fortitude and a degree of cheerfulness that won the sympathy of the entire community. He was married to Miss Josephine Lee at the residence of J. W. Sanders on July 26th, 1888. His father came to Conway many years ago where he established himself in the shoemaker's trade. Charlie was born here on July 19th, 1859.
