Description	:	Funeral services were held Friday, July 17 for Charles Manley Satterwhite in Culpeper United Methodist Church. The Rev. J. G. Long, Jr. officiated at the 2 P.M. service, with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg. Mr. Satterwhite, 67, died at his home in Culpeper, Wednesday. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Satterwhite, who was employed as maintenance supervisor for the State Highway Department in Culpeper, was a natice of Caroline County. Satterwhite and H. G. Satterwhite, both of Fredericksburg and J. R. Satterwhite of Arrington; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Marck of Richmond, Mrs. A. Y. Barlow of Charleston, S.C. and Mrs. Orice Jones and Mrs. Donald Hall of Fredericksburg. Mr. Satterwhite had worked for the State Highway Department for 44 years. He was a member of Lynn Banks Masonic Lodge No. 26 in Madison. Published in the Caroline Progress on July 22, 1970.
