Description	:	Ottumwa Courier June 5, 1946 Charles Marsh 59, died at 10:25 AM today at his home, 1810 Samantha Street, the son of William and Crista Marsh, he was born September 23, 1886, and Illinois. He moved with his parents to Kirkville in 1898 and spent his entire life in Wapello County. He married Miss Flora Rath in Ottumwa, October 9, 1915. She died February 29, 1944. He moved with his parents to Kirkville in 1898 and spent his entire life in Wapello County. He married Miss Flora Rath in Ottumwa, October 9, 1915. She died February 29, 1944. Survivors are a stepson, Charles Rath of Ottumwa; three brothers, Wesley March of Eldon and, James of Ottumwa, and George of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. George Clark, Ottumwa; Mrs. James Vest, Kansas City; Mrs. Cora Traister, La Crosse, Wisconsin and Mrs. Mabel Marsh of Nebraska. Before he became blind, Mr. Marsh was engaged in construction work. The body is at the community funeral service chapel. Funeral services for Charlie Marsh, who died at 10:25 AM Wednesday at the Minnie Potter nursing home on Newton Street, will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday from the community funeral home. The Rev. Roscoe Morrison will be in charge of the services and burial will be at Chillicothe. The pallbearers will be Ira Bartholow, Harold Russell, John Meyer, John Moffitt, William Albright, and George J. Clark.
