Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m., Wednesday from The Church of the Immaculate Conception here with the Rev. Fr. F.P. Schultes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at Schmidt Funeral home here. The body will remain at the funeral home until time of services. Surviving are three sons: Charles L., of Jefferson, la.; J.C. of Vancouver, Wash., and Cpl. Mark T., of Chanute Field, Rantoul, IL.; three daughters: Mrs. Vincent Riordan of Glendale, Calif., Agnes Wykoff of Cherokee, and Mrs. Florence Graham of Milwaukee, Wisc, and 13 grandchildren. Born April 14, 1870, at Princeton, IL., a son of Patrick and Ellen (Savage) Mulvaney, natives of Ireland, Mulvaney at one time was an extensive landowner and prosperous farmer of Pilot township, operating a farm of 420 acres. He acquired his education in public schools of Illinois and Iowa, dividing his time between school and work on his father's farm in Rock Township. At the age of 21 he assumed management of the homestead and continued to cultivate it until he was 40. He was married April 26, 1896, to Miss Grace M. Christopher, who was a daughter of John and Ellen (Fitzgerald) Christopher. Mulvaney was a member of the Roman Catholic church and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
