He was born on February 21, 1942, in Luray, VA and was a son of the late Carl W. Sours and Ruby Estelle Hoak Sours. Read More	Charles Reuben Sours, 76, of Luray, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center. He was born on February 21, 1942, in Luray, VA and was a son of the late Carl W. Sours and Ruby Estelle Hoak Sours. Charles worked at Avtex in Front Royal, VA for 20+ years then in 2000 he Retired from Dept. of Architect at the Capitol in the Maintenance Division . More recent he enjoyed working in the maintenance department at Walmart in Luray for more than 12 years and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. On April 20, 1968, he married Lois Turner Sours, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Tina Turner and husband Danny Turner of Luray, Kim Seal and husband Donald Seal of Rileyville, Teresa Hyers and husband Tim Hyers of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Eric Turner, Megan Cubbage and husband Danny Cubbage Jr., Charlie Seal and Taylor Hyers; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron Turner and Abel Cubbage. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray W. Sours and Lewis A. Sours; a great-granddaughter, Gracie Cubbage; and his mother-in-law, Pauline Cave. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Marble. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Stony Man Lutheran Parish.
