Burial rites will be held at 3:45 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carroll. Mr. Hamilton died Saturday morning in a car crash five miles north of Humboldt, when he and his three children, John, 19, Ann, 15, and Mary, 17, were on their way to Willey to attend the funeral services for their mother-in-law and grandmother, Mrs. Mary Greteman. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Algona, owned and operated by Mr. Hamilton. A former Carroll resident, he was born here April 26, 1916, the son of the late Robert James Hamilton and Mary Arts Hamilton. He was married in 1941 to Leonilla Greteman at Pasadena, Calif. During World War II he served with the air corps in Europe. He received his elementary education at St. Joseph's School here and graduated from Carroll High School. He received his professional training at the Williams Institute of Mortuary Science at Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of St. Cecelia's Church, Algona, where he had lived for about the last 20 years. Survivors besides his wife and children are a sister, Miss Grace Hamilton of Glendale, Calif., and a brother, William Hamilton of Carroll. The head on crash which took Mr. Hamilton's life was fatal to W.A. Hild, 83, and his granddaughter, Mrs. Karen Sullenberger, 25, both of Des Moines, who were going to Minnesota on a vacation.
