Description	:	He was the oldest son of Isaac Porter & Louisa Jane (Janie) Jordan Harnden; Husband of Ruth Jesse Bloomfield by whom he had no children & Grace Ferneau by whom he had three children: Janie, Kathy and Randy Harnden. His birth certificate and the 1910 census say his year of birth is 1909 & not 1914 as it says on the stone. His brother, Oliver, could not of been born in Jan of 1910 for this would be only a month after Charles and all censuses confirm he was over a year younger. Oliver gave... His brother, Oliver, could not of been born in Jan of 1910 for this would be only a month after Charles and all censuses confirm he was over a year younger. Oliver gave the information for his own delayed birth certificate. He also said his mother's maiden name was Green on the certificate which is incorrect. Finally, there is the fact that the birth certificate on file with information given by the midwife for his sister Ruth shows she was born Nov. 1912 and censuses all show she was the last child of the three and Oliver the middle. I think Oliver needed to be older to get a job is why he altered his age.
