Description	:	Urbana - Oct 5, 1904 Charles Goudy, one of the oldest citizens of Addison, was found lying dead on the floor of the kitchen of his home in that village Tuesday afternoon. How long he had laid there no one knows but as the body was almost cold it is certain that he had been dead several hours, having probably died Monday night. Read More	Urbana - Oct 5, 1904 Charles Goudy, one of the oldest citizens of Addison, was found lying dead on the floor of the kitchen of his home in that village Tuesday afternoon. How long he had laid there no one knows but as the body was almost cold it is certain that he had been dead several hours, having probably died Monday night. He was found by Mrs Mary Hines, a neighbor, who was attracted to the house by the lamp which was left burning in the sitting room of the home. Mr Goudy had been in poor health for some time, having suffered 2 strokes of paralysis and it is believed that his death was caused by another stroke or heart disease. He has been living alone for some time and there is no way of ascertaining when he died. The first that was known of his death was when Mrs Hines peering through the kitchen window saw the form lying on the floor. Coroner Armpriester was immediately notified and held an inquest over the body at the home in Addison. The decedent is survived by 2 children, Miss Laura Goudy, one of the teachers at the Childrens Home, and Mrs Bright of North Hampton. The funeral will be held from the Honey Creek Church Thursday afternoon.
