Clark Funeral services for the late Charles W. Soesbe, who died Monday afternoon, July 10, 1933, were held at the late home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock the Rev. C.F. Stratton in charge. Mr. Soesbe, who was born in Hardin county February 4, 1869, had lived in Linn county practically all the sixty-four years of his life, coming here when a small child, and with Mrs. Soesbe, had lived in Central City for the past twenty-two years. He had been an employee of Central City Produce company for the past seventeen years. He was a member of the Christian church of Central City. He was taken ill about five weeks ago and gradually failed until the time of his death. Mr. Soesbe is survived by the widow, who, before her marriage was Miss Katherine Bateman; and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Davis of Central City and Mrs. Kenneth Bliven of Brighton; and two granddaughters, Carol and Marvel Bliven; also two brothers, Andrew of Central City and Nathan of Manchester. Burial was made in Mt. Clark Cemetery.
