Description	:	Funeral Rites Conducted for Charles Dobney Funeral services for Charles W. Dobney, 79, 1101 Norfolk Ave., well-known retired automobile dealer, who died Monday, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Howser Mortuary by Rev. Peter F Dunne, Sacred Heart Church pastor. Music was by Mrs. Virgil Schlack, vocalist, and Mrs. A C. Weddingfeld, organist. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amber Seeman, F. M. Deutsch, Pat Northrup, Edmund H. He was an automobile dealer for 41 years starting his career in 1912 at Stuart. He came to Norfolk in 1925 as manager of the Ridder Motor Company, which was affiliated with the Ryal Miller Company. He became manager of the Ryal Miller Chevrolet Company at Norfolk in 1934, retiring in January 1954. He was married Dec. 26, 1912, to Miss Marie Kent. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Robert Armbruster and Mrs. Gene Asmos of Norfolk, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Emma McConnel, Lincoln. He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank (note) Daughters Helen Marie (1917), Marian (1920)
