Description	:	Charles William "Bill" Joseph, 87, of Naples, Fla. formerly of Lima, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 25, 2011. He was born in Lima to Harry D. Joseph and Irene Reese Joseph, who preceded him in death. He was married to the late Rosemary Locker for 50 years. Bill graduated from Lima Central High School in 1941. He was born in Lima to Harry D. Joseph and Irene Reese Joseph, who preceded him in death. He was married to the late Rosemary Locker for 50 years. Bill graduated from Lima Central High School in 1941. He was a decorated Army veteran of World War II. After retiring from the Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, he moved to Naples and was a building contractor. Bill was a member of Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren of Lima and Celebration Community Beach Church of Naples. He was a loving father and wonderful Christian role model for family and friends. He served as deacon and Sunday school teacher. In Florida, he enjoyed square dancing and acquired many friends through his endless dancing activities. He was always serving and helping those in need. Survivors include three sons, Jon Joseph and Dan Joseph, both of Naples, Fla., and Randy Joseph, of North Carolina; a daughter, Cindy (Dave) Lieurance, of Lima; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Miriam Battles, of Lima, and Mary Jane Croissant, of Michigan; and two sisters-in-law, Donna Locker, of Indiana, and Carolyn Robey, of Georgia. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Joseph. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Church Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
