Description	:	Charles was the only son of William Charles McMaster and Mary Alice Lowry. He was of great heritage as his mother and maternal grandparents roots were of Ireland with great grandparents of Scotland. His paternal roots were of Canadian ancestry. He lived for awhile in Rock county, WI. where many of the Lowry relatives/his mother and father married/lived for sometime with Lowry relation. His maternal grandparents Robert and Mary McCann farmed there until Robert passed and then Mary left with Charles parents went to South Dakota to homestead. He lived for awhile in Rock county, WI. where many of the Lowry relatives/his mother and father married/lived for sometime with Lowry relation. His maternal grandparents Robert and Mary McCann farmed there until Robert passed and then Mary left with Charles parents went to South Dakota to homestead. His Mcmaster grandparents lives/gravesites were all part of his memories there in Alexandria, S.D. noted by creator/cousin Colleen Lowry. He had no descendants as he and His wife Susan McDonald married late in life. He had just one Mcmaster/ Allen niece marry with one daughter born and many Lowry relatives in Wisconsin. He was drafted at 33 years old and served in WWI. His life profession as a veterinarian surgeon served the community of Alexandria, South Dakota throughout his adult lives. He married Susan Frances McDonald in 1936 in Hanson County, South Dakota. He was a gifted man who was a Veterinarian Surgeon in private practice. Several cousins met him visiting and sharing/receiving family memories. He and his wife lived and worked within Hanson County area. No children were of this union. He lived a long life and was a jovial personality being a great Ireland and Scotland. Both he and his wife, his parents and many of his Lowry relatives/aunts and uncles rest in peace at Green Hill Cemetery.
