Description	:	Charles William Rice, well-known farmer of near Broad Run, died suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home Tuesday morning at 5:45 o'clock. Mr. Rice, who was aged 55 years, had not been complaining. He had risen at 4:45 o'clock and died before a physician arrived at the Rice home. He was the son of the late Charles W. and Nina Sencil Rice and was a member of the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren. Farming had been his occupation. During the superintendency of Maurice D. He is survived by the following: His wife, Mrs. Susan Hanes Rice, and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. Charles King, near Frederick; Walter M., Dorsey L., Clyde E. Rice, Mrs. Beryl Gordon, all of near Jefferson; Clarence C. and Raymond C. Rice, both of near Middletown. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon leaving the home at 1:30 o'clock with final services at Pleasant View Church of the Brethren at two o'clock. Interment in adjoining cemetery. M.R.
