Description	:	Charles William Tucker, son of Marshall and Ella Tucker, was born March 7, 1880 on a farm near Persia, in Harrison county and died in the same home, March 11, 1956 at the age of 76 years and four days. When he was seven years old his parents moved to Shelby, where he grew to young manhood. He was united in marriage to Vera Comstock on March 6, 1918. He is survived by his wife, four children, Kenneth Marshall Tucker of Persia, Fern May Tucker of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs Frances Louise Wilson of Santa Ana, California and Mrs Eunice Ann Smith of Dow City. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs Stella Mae Blakely Fuller of Clinton, Colorado, Laura Winifred Herring of Flagstaff, Arizona and four grandchildren, Glen Kit Wilson, Susan Linette Tucker, Thomas Marshall Tucker and Mark William Smith, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at Shelby March 14 with the Rev. John B. Bloomquist in charge. Burial was in the Shelby cemetery. Harlan Tribune Harlan, Iowa March 23, 1956
